Polar bears, known for their thick white fur and playful nature, have become symbols of the holiday season and the magic of winter. Even though they live in the Arctic, far from Santa’s North Pole, they often appear in festive images that capture the feeling of winter. Their snowy coats and curious faces make them perfect for adding a bit of wonder to holiday traditions.
The link between polar bears and Christmas is fueled by imagination rather than tradition. Artists and companies often use polar bears in holiday campaigns to evoke the allure of the frozen north and to contrast Arctic life with the warmth of the holiday season. This festive imagery evokes feelings of warmth and nostalgia that define the season.
Polar bears are famous as strong Arctic hunters, but their playful side has also become part of Christmas stories. You can find them in cartoons, store displays, and as plush toys, bringing a wintry charm to the season and connecting their wild world to holiday celebrations.

Crafted for quality and carefully designed, this puzzle is as much a piece of art as a fun and challenging activity. Perfect for solo relaxation or as a cozy shared experience, it’s sure to bring a sense of calm and joy to your day as you put the mini wooden jigsaw puzzle together.

Laurie Snow Hein

Laurie Snow Hein, an award-winning American artist, is celebrated for her luminous oil paintings that capture the vibrant spirit of Florida's landscapes, wildlife, and coastal beauty. Born in 1949, she began studying art at 12 under the mentorship of illustrator Graham Ingels. Despite earning a scholarship to the Columbus College of Art & Design, she chose to pursue her artistic journey independently while raising a family. By the age of 21, she was already teaching art, and over the decades, she has established herself as a painter, instructor, and illustrator, with her work featured in galleries, national art festivals, and licensed products worldwide.

Hein's art is distinguished by its vivid color palettes, expressive brushwork, and a deep connection to nature. Her subjects range from serene beachscapes and lush tropical flora to intimate portraits and wildlife scenes rendered with warmth and tranquility. In 2005, she consciously decided to focus on painting Florida's unique environments, aiming to share the beauty of her home state through her art. Her paintings are not only visually captivating but also evoke a sense of nostalgia and appreciation for the natural world.

Beyond her personal artistic endeavors, Hein's dedication to mentoring emerging artists is a testament to her commitment to art education. She shares her knowledge through workshops and lectures, teaching various mediums, including oil, acrylic, and watercolor. Her involvement in art instruction for over 50 years has made her a respected figure in the art community. Hein's passion for capturing the essence of Florida's landscapes continues to inspire others to find joy and meaning in the creative process through her work.
