We are pleased to introduce you to the wonderful, colorful work of the talented, Japanese Artist, Hiroo Isono.

Hiroo is famous for his lush, nature illustrations, which take on a surreal air as he juxtaposes fantasy with reality, and packs his paintings full of tropical jungles and animals, always surrounded by a mystical landscape.

Hiroo loved trees and forests, and many of them are featured on his images - glowing with color, and always within sight of a city or view. He was heavily influenced by his extensive travels in North America, Africa, and the South Pacific, and together with a Japanese aesthetic, he brings a global perspective to his work, and allows us to enter those fantasy realms alongside him.

Unfortunately, Hiroo left us in 2013, but he produced a large body of work, and his widow was kind enough to share some of those paintings with us, to make into wooden jigsaw puzzles.

The perfect gift for wooden jigsaw puzzlers, modern art enthusiasts, and Fantasy Art fans, this traditional adult wooden jigsaw puzzle can be done time and again. Our wooden jigsaw puzzle artists have included many jungle shaped whimsy puzzle pieces that match the theme of the painting, and we have integrated them in ways that will delight and surprise you as you put the wooden jigsaw puzzle together.
