Time is always with us, but how we feel it can change a lot. Even though clocks move at the same pace, time seems to drag when we are bored or stressed and fly by when we are happy or busy. When we are really focused on something we enjoy, we stop noticing the time, so it feels like it goes by faster.

How we experience time shapes how we remember our lives. Exciting or emotional moments might feel short when they happen, but they leave us with strong memories. On the other hand, ordinary or dull times often blend together. So, time is not just something that moves forward; it is shaped by what we pay attention to and how we feel.

This is why it is so important to spend time with people we care about. We cannot get time back, and the moments we share with loved ones become the core of our memories and relationships. Even if those moments go by quickly, they stay with us and help make our lives feel rich and meaningful.

This enchanting image of time from Ciro Marchetti entices us to pause, engage with friends and family, and solve a brand-new puzzle.

Ciro Marchetti

Ciro Marchetti is an Italian-born, British-raised artist whose career has spanned continents and creative disciplines. After graduating from Croydon College of Art in the mid-1970s, he co-founded a prominent graphic design firm, Graform International, with offices in London, Caracas, and Miami. His early work focused on corporate branding, packaging, and multimedia design for major international clients. However, Marchetti eventually shifted his focus to personal illustration, a significant move that allowed him to fully express his artistic vision and creativity. He embraced digital tools to craft richly detailed, imaginative works that blend fantasy, symbolism, and classical aesthetics.

Marchetti is best known for his significant contributions to the world of tarot and cartomancy. His acclaimed decks—including The Gilded Tarot, Tarot of Dreams, Legacy of the Divine Tarot, and Kipper—have not only been published in multiple languages but have also redefined the visual language of tarot. They are celebrated for their vivid imagery and intricate symbolism, setting a new standard for tarot decks. Beyond tarot, his artwork has been licensed for posters, puzzles, fabrics, and other merchandise, reaching a global audience. His distinctive style is characterized by a fusion of digital precision and fantastical storytelling, inviting viewers into immersive visual narratives.

Marchetti's journey in art is far from over. Now based in Florida, he continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling. His exploration of new creative avenues, including animated tarot sequences and immersive digital experiences, inspires artists and enthusiasts alike. His work, recognized with numerous accolades, including multiple Photoshop Guru Awards and international digital art competition wins, resonates across cultures and mediums, blending tradition with technology in an innovative and inspiring way.
