The sea is full of color, movement, and quiet mystery, and scenes like this capture that magic and invite you to take a closer look. Patterned fish swim through waving sea plants, while shells sit among coral branches like hidden treasures. Every part of the image feels alive with movement and texture, from soft pink shells and speckled fish to leafy coral shapes that come together as a vibrant underwater garden. As a 250-piece puzzle, this lively seascape is more than just an illustration—it’s an invitation to explore the ocean one piece at a time.

Seashells and marine life have a special charm that draws people in. Spiral shells and delicate coral shapes remind us of the treasures beachcombers hope to find after the tide goes out. In this underwater scene, they rest among colorful fish that shine with dots, stripes, and soft shades of blue, pink, and green. As you put together a 250-piece puzzle inspired by this scene, each piece reveals a small part of the underwater world, letting you notice details you might otherwise miss, like the curve of a shell, the pattern of scales, or the layers of sea plants moving with the current.

People are drawn to ocean scenes because they mix beauty with a sense of curiosity. The sea feels peaceful but also full of life, and images like this remind us of the colorful ecosystems below the surface. Putting together a 250-piece puzzle with this design is a relaxing way to explore that world, with each piece feeling like a new discovery. When the last piece is in place, the finished image celebrates the sea’s beauty—an intricate mix of fish, shells, and coral that shows the wonder and creativity found in nature’s underwater world.

Lee Foster Wilson

Lee Foster-Wilson is a UK artist and illustrator based in Cornwall, whose work is deeply inspired by the rural and coastal landscapes around her. Growing up in the countryside, she was immersed in nature from an early age and spent much of her time among a lively menagerie of animals, as well as riding horses. These formative experiences fostered a lasting connection to the natural world, which continues to influence the themes, atmosphere, and storytelling present throughout her artwork.

After graduating from the University of Brighton in 2003 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Painting, Lee established her creative business, Bonbi Forest. Through this venture, she has developed a distinctive visual style that reflects both her fine art training and her personal fascination with symbolism, narrative, and the rhythms of everyday life. Her illustrations often explore the relationship between people and nature, as well as the connections people share with one another, weaving thoughtful imagery with playful, expressive visual elements.

Lee prefers to work with limited colour palettes and traditional analogue materials, giving her illustrations a distinctive warmth and character. Marker pens are her favorite tools, valued for their versatility and expressive qualities, and they remain central to her creative process. Her compositions frequently incorporate phrases, handwritten text, and an array of celestial and mystical symbols, creating imagery that feels both whimsical and contemplative while inviting viewers to explore the deeper stories embedded within each piece.
