Someone has decided that 'getting away from it all' means bringing every bit of Christmas along. Tucked among snow-covered evergreens, a bright red, cream, and turquoise camper shines like a gingerbread house on wheels. Lights are strung through the trees, and huge ornaments hang overhead, almost as if the sky wanted to join in the decorating. Splashes of orange, red, and blue make the forest look like a holiday dream, though no one seems eager to talk about how much was spent on decorations.

Outside the camper, a bright campfire sends golden smoke into the air, inviting anyone willing to step away from the cozy windows. An orange cushioned seat sits by the snowy clearing, showing that camping can be a bit comfortable. A picnic table stands under trees so decorated that adding another ornament would require a group decision. The only things missing are a mug of hot chocolate and someone claiming to know every verse of every Christmas carol.

The whole scene feels like a joyful Christmas celebration that has wandered into the woods. Bright ornaments shine among the branches, snow piles up in soft mounds, and the camper sits happily in the middle of it all. This is the kind of winter trip where there are plenty of marshmallows, bedtime is flexible, and 'packing light' seems to mean bringing hundreds of lights. Even Santa might stop by, admire the campsite, and ask who handled the decorations.
