Hermès commissioned this painting in 2011 as the backdrop for the Christmas window at their flagship Paris store on the Rue Faubourg Saint-Honore. The original was painted in oil and 10 feet high by 15 feet long!

It was initially called. L'Arche de Nöel (Noel's Ark), but we had to change the name as we already have a Noah's Ark puzzle and didn't want to confuse everyone.

Timothy Martin paints in the classic realistic style, which could also be described as surreal. However, many surrealist works are more dark and frantic, and his paintings are happy, colorful, and filled with joy. They are designed to delight adults and children alike, and people are enchanted by the sheer imagination of the animal kingdom coming together to party in this image.

The delight is in the dazzling details, from the lioness hugging the peacock, the bunnies playing on the sofa, and the polar bear's vibrant belt.

You will notice more to enjoy every time you work on the puzzle!

The perfect gift for luxury wooden jigsaw puzzlers and animal lovers, this traditional adult luxury wooden jigsaw puzzle can be done time and again. Our luxury wooden jigsaw puzzle artists have included many animal-shaped whimsy wooden jigsaw puzzle pieces that match the theme of the painting, and we have integrated them in ways that will delight and surprise you as you put the luxury wooden jigsaw puzzle together.
