This vibrant pressed flower collage is a testament to the meticulous artistry of the creator. Each wildflower is arranged with intention, creating a radiant celebration of nature's palette.

The artwork is a rich tapestry of botanical diversity, showcasing the unique color and form of each flower, and its ecological significance.

On the left side, we see multiple varieties of Zinnia, easily recognized by their dense, layered petals and vivid hues. Zinnias are native to Mexico and the southwestern United States and are beloved in pollinator gardens for attracting butterflies. Interspersed with them are Black-eyed Susans, identifiable by their golden petals and dark central cones. Susans are quintessential to North American meadows and are known for their toughness and adaptability.

Near the bottom left are Queen Anne's Lace. This plant, a wild carrot relative, often grows along roadsides and open fields.

As we move to the center and right, cooler tones of blue and lavender come into play with Delphiniums. They are often associated with high-altitude meadows and temperate woodland edges. Nearby, lavender clusters provide visual elegance and a subtle reminder of its aromatic qualities and calming properties.

Shades shift to pink, purple, and mauve in the bottom right quadrant. Cosmos and Peonies are prominent here, with large, open blooms and  delicate petal structures. Cosmos are valued for their ease of growth and ability to reseed annually. Smaller, rounded blooms such as Scabiosa add texture and variation.

Each flower in this piece was chosen not only for its aesthetic qualities but also for the role it plays in its native habitat.

Flower Press Studio

Flower Press Studio is a Colorado-based creative business founded by Keith and Rachel, whose journey began in their urban backyard garden in Denver. In spring 2020, they started pressing flowers—poppies and wild varieties grown from scattered seeds—and building handmade frames from salvaged wood. What began as a passion project quickly became a deeper artistic endeavor rooted in nature and craftsmanship. By late 2021, they launched their website. They entered the world of bridal bouquet preservation, embracing the uncertainties of a first business year with heart and remarkable perseverance that continues to inspire. Their dedication to their craft and their commitment to their mission are evident in every piece they create.
Flower Press Studio's work is deeply inspired by the rhythms of the natural world and the people who cultivate it. Now located in the North Fork Valley of Paonia, CO, Keith and Rachel immerse themselves in a vibrant community of flower farmers, florists, and artists. They collaborate with independent, sustainably minded flower farms each season to preserve local blooms as pressed flower artwork. This dedication to sustainability is a core value that inspires their process, a tactile expression of reverence for nature. Their work blends meticulous artistry with organic materials grown from the earth, always mindful of their impact on the environment. Whether working in the studio or tending to their land, they remain grounded in a lifestyle that values beauty, connection, and authenticity.
Flower Press Studio's unique aesthetic, born from their dedication to craft, has led to collaborations with respected partners, including Hatchett Book Group, Estée Lauder, Evan Healy, The Herbal Academy, Area Environments Wallpaper, Puzzle Michele Wilson, and Cobble Hill Puzzle Company. Their work, with its unique blend of nature-inspired artistry and sustainability, has resonated across industries, from skincare and publishing to home décor and fine puzzles. With their cat Ivy by their side, Keith and Rachel continue cultivating their land and creative vision, sharing the poetry of preserved flowers with a growing audience.
