Central Park, the United States' first landscaped public park, holds a significant place in history. Its creation was a visionary endeavor championed by wealthy merchants and landowners who drew inspiration from the public grounds of London and Paris. Their goal was to establish a similar facility in New York, thereby enhancing its international reputation and providing a space for all to appreciate.

Bow Bridge, a timeless symbol of Central Park's beauty, was built in 1862 during the Victorian era. This iconic bridge, spanning 60 feet across Central Park Lake, connects Cherry Hill and the Ramble, offering a picturesque view that never fails to inspire awe.

A romantic oasis in the heart of Central Park, the bridge beckons lovers to its picturesque setting. Here, one can pause and savor the sight of row boats gliding gently along the Lake, a perfect backdrop for a wedding proposal, a first-date kiss, or a stunning shot of the Fifth Avenue skyline.

The bridge gets its name from its graceful arc shape, which resembles that of an archer's bow. Calvert Vaux and Jacob Wrey Mould designed it with Classical Greek refinement, incorporating Gothic, Neo-Classical, and Renaissance design elements.

It is the oldest cast-iron bridge in Central Park and the second-oldest in the United States. Along the top outer edges are eight cast-iron replicas of planting urns that initially adorned the bridge in the early 1900s.

The perfect gift for lovers of challenging wooden jigsaw puzzles, and Central Park enthusiasts, this traditional adult wooden jigsaw puzzle can be done time and again. This puzzle features a tessellated cut with repeating shapes. It is purposefully designed to be a harder, more challenging puzzle and is specifically for expert wooden puzzle doers. We suggest you don’t attempt this one unless you really enjoy a challenge.
