This colorful image celebrates fall color in all its glory - set off by the two California Black Bears hustling up that birch tree.

American Black Bears used to occupy most of the forested areas of Canada, the USA and Mexico, but now its rare to see them, as they are mostly restricted to undisturbed forest areas.

Pretty soon now, they will be thinking about winter hibernation, but right now they are enjoying their last frolic among the trees, and chowing down on leaves, nuts, berries, and of course, some honey, in preparation for their long seasonal sleep.

This is the perfect wooden jigsaw puzzle to welcome Autumn, now that the days are getting a little crisper in most parts of the country, and the leaves are starting to turn.
